NEW: English + Work Experience

LTC Eastbourne now offer English language courses followed by an unpaid internship in a company or organisation based in Eastbourne.

An English language course followed by an internship in a local business is an excellent way to improve your general and business English, to gain work experience and to interact with English people in the workplace.

Please note that this programme is only open to EU and Swiss nationals and students from Japan, Korea, Monaco, Taiwan or Hong Kong who have a Tier 5 Youth Mobility Visa.

Levels

Length of the Programme

Language course: minimum two weeks. If your language level is lower than intermediate (B1), you will need a longer course to prepare you for your internship. Contact the school for advice.

Internship: anything from two weeks to six months.

Course Description

For further information about the English language course, see General English Standard or the course description.

When can you do your internship?

We can arrange an internship at any time of year, but remember that many English companies close for two weeks at Christmas time.

You would normally begin your internship as soon as your English language course finishes. You need a good intermediate level of English before your internship begins and for some placements a higher level of English may be required.

British Council Accreditation

Please note that our British Council accreditation covers our English language courses but not Work Experience placements.

Certificates and Reports

At the end of your English language course, LTC will give you a certificate and a report from your teacher, provided you have attended at least 80% of your lessons.

Public Holidays

Please note that there are no classes on public holidays.
