Student Self-Catering Accommodation
July and August
LTC can book students age 18+ into self-catering accommodation in a shared student house.
In July and August, LTC can find you accommodation in shared houses and flats. You will have your own bedroom and will share the kitchen and bathroom with three or four other students.
Your bedroom will have a comfortable bed, a wardrobe for your clothes and a study desk. Your room will be cleaned before you arrive, but after that, you and the other students are responsible for keeping the house clean and tidy.
You should bring your own towel, shampoo, shower gel etc. and you will have to buy and prepare your own food. There is a washing machine you can use for your clothes but you will have to buy washing powder.
Most self-catering student houses are approximately 20 minutes’ walk from LTC.
Renting a Flat
Some students who stay for several months find a flat to live alone or with friends. If you wish to do this, we recommend that you book homestay accommodation for four weeks first to give yourself time to find a flat.
Typical price for a one-bedroom flat: £100-£125 per week. You may also need to pay up to £22 Council Tax per week.
