London has thousands of opportunities for activities, events, cultural visits and entertainment. We can also help you to visit other cities in the UK and Europe.

What better place to study English, than the capital city? Easy access to all parts of London means you can visit almost all the famous sights for the price of a travelcard. Museums and galleries are free. You will find you are spoilt for choice.

LTC London also offers a wide range of afternoon and evening activities with LTC staff so you can get to know another side of London that tourists do not see.

These are a few local activities that we do together:

  • Visits to pubs and nightclubs
  • Pub quizzes
  • Sports
  • Cinema evenings
  • Trips to markets
  • Karaoke
  • School parties
  • Visits to exhibitions
  • Trips to restaurants selling every kind of food

For these activities you’ll need to pay for your own ticket, meal or drink etc.

Activities in and around London

Most of London’s world famous museums and art galleries are free to visit.

London is the theatrical and concert centre of the world. There are more than 40 theatres in central London and you’ll be able to book for the play, musical or concert you’ve always wanted to see (tickets from £25 to £60). If you prefer football, you can get tickets for a Premiership or international match (tickets from £25, but for Arsenal or Chelsea from £60).

There is more than enough to keep you entertained in this great city but if you want to see more, all parts of the UK are easily accessible from the capital by train, plane or coach.
